What's a Location?

A location is a separate waitlist under the same business.

Setting up locations allows a business create and manage multiple waitlists. Each location can either share the settings of the business or have their own customization. There is an added plan cost for each location added, so keep that in mind.

Adding a Location

Whether you're opening a new location or simply want to roll out NextMe to other existing locations, the process is simple.

  1. Navigate to the Locations page. If you don't see this page, you may not have the necessary permissions and should ask your business owner to upgrade your Role.

  2. You'll see a list of all existing Locations. Click the New Location button at the bottom of the list.

  3. An Add Location form will appear. Fill out the required fields, including:

    • Name* - What you'd like to call this location.

    • Phone - Typically the phone of the primary manager or location itself.

    • Email - This should be the email for the primary manager of the location. Automated reports and emails will be sent here.

    • Address* - This should be the physical location. It needs to be accurate for our geofence feature to work, if you decide to turn that feature on.

    • City* - This should match the address you've inputted.

    • State* - This should match the address you've inputted.

    • Postal Code* - This should match the address you've inputted.

    • Time Zone - Used for defining waitlist hours.

  4. Click the Create button at the bottom of the form to save your new location.

  5. If adding this location results in you exceeding the Location Limit for your business, you will be sent to a Stripe Checkout page where you can purchase access for the location you just created.

Editing a Location

  1. Navigate to the Locations page. If you don't see this page, you may not have the necessary permissions and should ask your business owner to upgrade your role.

  2. You'll see a list of all existing locations. Click the More Icon (...) to the right of the location you want to change, then click Edit from the list of options.

  3. An Edit Location form will appear. Edit any information you'd like to update.

  4. Click the Save button at the bottom of the form to save your updates.

Deleting a Location

You'll need at least one location for the waitlist to function properly. Because of this, we prevent you from deleting the last location. If you don't see a delete button, that is likely why.

  1. Navigate to the Locations page. If you don't see this page, you may not have the necessary permissions and should ask your business owner to upgrade your role.

  2. You'll see a list of all existing locations. Click the More Icon (...) to the right of the location you want to change, then click Delete from the list of options.

  3. A pop up will appear asking you to confirm you'd like to delete the location. Click the Confirm button. If you delete a location, it's gone. You do not have the option to reactivate.

  4. Your location will now be deleted and will not appear in your waitlist.
