Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to create, plan, and finalize a shipment within Nineyard, including initial setup, item allocation, and packing completion.
Step 1: Plan Your Shipment
Navigate to Shipments > Select Plan Shipment.
If needed, Toggle the ‘Plan as case packed’ ON to plan your shipment as case-packed.
In the Selected SKU section:
Click the + button > Import Bulk. You may also enter your SKUs through the Replenish page by selecting suggested SKUs or manually entering quantities.
Paste your list of SKUs as per the provided format.
Validate > Confirm > Plan All > Create [all].
Note: These steps allow you to plan your shipments with Amazon according to your case allocation. Shipments will be created in a way that maintains your case structure, avoiding case splits.
Setting Default Case Quantities (One-Time Setup)
To simplify packing in future shipments:
Go to Shipping > Replenish > Select Action > Update Bulk.
Download the template provided and fill out:
Column A for SKUs
Column D for Case Quantity
Upload the completed template. Your default case quantities are now saved for future use, allowing faster processing.
Step 2: Finalize Packing and Shipment Details
Go to Shipping > Shipments to locate your newly created shipment(s).
Click on the Shipment ID to open the shipment details.
In the Shipment SKUs section:
Click Options > Box all with Case Qty. Your boxes will appear on the right side of the page.
If applicable, use the Options button again to select Upload expiration date bulk .
Click Submit Box content to upload your box details to Amazon.
Select Prep & Ship and choose your shipping method (e.g., SPD, LTL).
Alternative Packing Method with Supplier Sheets
If your supplier has provided a sheet with SKUs and box combinations:
Skip Step 3 above. Instead, go to the Boxes section on the left side of your shipment page.
Select Import Amazon box content to upload your box and SKU combinations directly.
Following these steps will ensure your shipments are created, packed, and prepped for Amazon's requirements, maintaining your case integrity and optimizing your shipping process.
