When you navigate to the Interact section on the left menu, you'll find a range of tools designed to help you communicate with your listeners through the app and gather essential information from them. These features are crucial for engaging with your audience effectively and efficiently.

Push Notifications

This page allows you to create various types of notifications for your listeners. Our research has shown that listeners are 80% more likely to stay engaged with your station when they receive push messages, making this feature even more important than you might have thought!

You can set up three types of Push Notifications:

Immediate: These push messages are sent out instantly, perfect for urgent alerts, news updates, programming changes, or notifying listeners when the radio stream is down and back up.

Scheduled: These notifications are tied to a specific day and time. Use the calendar to choose the right time slot and set your message to go live exactly when you want.

Linked: Make your push messages more engaging by attaching them to a specific piece of media from your YouTube or On Demand feed. This is great for highlighting relevant videos or episodes.

Additionally, your listeners can receive other types of Push Notifications while using the app. For example, if they like a particular song from your playlist or a show from your Program Schedule, they will automatically be notified when that piece of media is on air again.

In the Program Schedule section mentioned earlier, you can enter specific text that relates to the show about to air. You can choose whether the notification is sent to those who added the show to their Favorites or to all app users who might be interested.

Pro-Tip

Push Notifications are a great way to engage your listeners! Try to create viral text, use a few emojis, and incorporate some bright slang to make your notifications more appealing and fun to tap on!

Shoutouts

In this section, you can collect Shoutout audio files that your listeners have sent through the app. Listeners can easily record, edit, and send their voice messages to your station with just a few taps. Once they’ve done this, a new shoutout will appear in this page’s listing.

By clicking Open Shoutout, you’ll be redirected to the audio file webpage, where you can listen to the shoutout and download it if you’d like to include it in your radio program.

Form Responses

In this section, you can review the responses your listeners have submitted through the forms set up in the Forms Studio within the Workshop menu. You'll find all the responses from various forms you’ve created.

Pro-Tip

Additionally, you can export this information as an Excel file by clicking the Export button. This feature allows for more efficient data analysis. For instance, if you ask your listeners to send song requests through a form, you can use the Excel file to quickly analyze the data and create a song rating based on the frequency of requests.

Onboarding Listeners

This page allows you to enhance your listeners' experience with your app by setting up an onboarding process. When enabled, your app users will receive three special notifications highlighting the timer, alarm, and Car Support features.

You can customize the messages to align with your brand’s vibe. Be sure to hit Save and activate the onboarding so it’s available to new users.

These features are crucial for user experience as they help manage waking up in the morning, going to sleep in the evening, and commuting during the day, ensuring their favorite radio station is always accessible.
