Once you've set everything up and distributed the app to the stores, your listeners will be able to download it and use its wide range of features. The app offers a seamless listening experience, interactive notifications, social media updates and informative home page, adding value for both your station and the community. Let’s take a look!

Home Page

This is the core of your app: listeners will be able to reach all of the essential information and feel the vibe of your radio station! At the top and bottom, they can see what's live on the broadcast, tap the play button, and tune in to your station. In the middle, they'll find everything you've set up through the Content Builder on the dashboard.

By tapping the tiles, users will be redirected to linked pieces of information such as social media posts, podcast episodes, YouTube videos, links, and various audio streams. If you have a long list of sections and tiles, users can scroll down the home page to see everything.

Audio Player

Once your app users turn on the broadcast, they'll be able to open the player page, which displays the currently playing track and allows interaction. They can like a song to get notified when it’s played again or dislike it to notify the station of their preferences.

By tapping on the three dots, they can access the Contact Details page or share on social media that they’re listening to your station. They’ll also have the option to SharePlay if they have compatible devices connected to the same network.

Playlist

In this section, listeners can see the last 10 tracks played on your station. They can interact by liking or disliking each track to provide feedback.

Additionally, users can find the track on music markets such as Apple Music or share it on social media to connect with friends and followers. This feature enhances engagement and makes it easy for listeners to interact with their favorite music from your station.

On Demand

In this tab, users can browse through your podcast library either by scrolling down or using the search bar for specific episodes. When they select an episode, the audio player opens with additional functionalities.

Unlike live streams, users can rewind using the slider or dedicated buttons to skip 30 seconds forward or backward. They also have speed controls to adjust playback speed for easier listening, and buttons to navigate between podcast episodes seamlessly. These features enhance user experience by providing flexibility and convenience in podcast consumption.

Activity and Videos

Activity tab consolidates all your Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter) posts into a scrollable list. Users can tap on any item to view the post directly within their respective social media app or in a web browser if they don't have the app installed. This feature enables seamless access to your social media content, enhancing engagement and interaction with your audience across different platforms.

Videos tab functions similarly to the Activity section, but instead of redirecting users to the platform, it opens an enhanced version of the Audio Player that plays your YouTube video content directly within the app.

Shows

This tab allows your listeners to stay updated with your program schedule and see what will be airing throughout the week. By tapping on any of the listed shows, users can dive deeper into the details about each program and leave a Like to be notified when their favorite show is on air. This makes it incredibly convenient for listeners to plan their week around the shows they love and never miss an episode.

P.S. Don't forget to enable the push notification checkbox in the Program Schedule section on the dashboard to ensure listeners receive timely alerts for their favorite shows!

Shoutouts

By navigating through the menu tab, users can tap the Shoutouts button, which opens a screen where they can record their voice. After finishing the recording, they have the option to trim or re-record it before sending.

Once they give their Shoutout a title and press Send Shoutout, you can review their submitted audio in the dashboard! This feature makes it easy for listeners to interact with your station and share their voices with the community.

Car Mode

Check out this paragraph to see how you can onboard listeners to use this feature!

By navigating through the menu tab, users can tap the Car Mode button, which opens a simplified audio player that is much easier to use when you're listening to the station on the go. The interface is designed for ease of use, ensuring that listeners can focus on the road while still enjoying their favorite tunes or radio shows without the need for complicated controls or distractions.

This feature becomes even more convenient for listeners who have CarPlay or Android Auto support in their vehicles! Check out this blog post for more information!

Sleep Timer

Sometimes, listeners tune in to their favorite radio stations before going to bed. With this feature, they don't have to worry about waking up at 5 AM only to discover that the radio has been playing all night long.

By setting a timer to stop the stream, they can prevent unnecessary internet usage and help their neighbors enjoy a deep sleep as well!

Alarm Clock

Sleeping is great, but waking up can be tough. For those listeners who love to wake up with their favorite radio shows, we have a special alarm clock feature that will start playing the radio at the set time. It's much better than waking up to the same ringtone every day. With the radio alarm clock, you can wake up to a random tune each morning, adding a refreshing twist to your daily routine.

Contact Us

On this page, users will find a set of shortcuts to contact your station via the phone number, email address, and X (Twitter) account tag that you've included on the dashboard. This makes it much easier for listeners to find your contact information without having to search through your website or social media.

The convenience is enhanced as these buttons are directly connected to the phone, mail, and X (Twitter) applications installed on their smartphones, providing a seamless way to reach out to your station.
