Making One-Off Dials with Nooks

Call prospects or phone numbers without needing Sequences or creating one-off Tasks

The Nooks Dialer includes a feature that allows you to make one-off calls to prospects without the need to create a campaign or add them to a sequence. This particularly useful when you need to quickly reach out to a specific prospect or dial a number that's not associated with any existing prospect in your SEP.


Feature Overview

  • Search for prospects by name, company or phone number

  • Calls will be logged to your SEP.

  • Calls made by the one-off dialer will not advance or complete any tasks in your SEP.

  • Available for Outreach, Salesloft, Hubspot and Apollo Teams.

Here's how it works:

  1. Navigate to the Dialer page in your app.

  2. Click the "One-Off Dial" button to open the One-Off Dial dialog.

  3. In the search box, you can either:

    • Type in a keyword or a part of a phone number to search for prospects in our database. The search results will display matching prospects by name or phone number based on the keyword you entered. The results will also include prospects under an account with a name that includes the keyword you entered.

    • Enter a valid phone number that you want to call directly.

  4. If you searched for a prospect:

    • Click on one of the search result prospects to open the Prospect Details dialog.

    • In the Prospect Details dialog, you'll see information about the selected prospect and have the option to initiate a call.

    • Click on the "Call" button to start the one-off call with the selected prospect.

    • At the end of the call, you will be able to log it into your SEP.

  5. If you entered a valid phone number:

    • You can proceed to call the number as a one-off call without associating it with a prospect.

    • After the call is completed, you have two options:

      • Associate the number with an existing prospect in your database and log the call details.

      • Log the call details without associating it with a prospect (available only for Outreach users).

  6. To associate the call with an existing prospect:

    • In the dialog, click on the "Associate Prospect" dropdown.

    • Search for the desired prospect using a keyword.

    • Select the prospect from the search results to associate the call with that prospect.

  7. Fill in the necessary call details, such as notes, disposition, or any other relevant information.

  8. Click on the "Log Call" button to save the call details.

Please note that the prospect database is updated once per day or whenever a prospect is called using other methods in the app. This means that you might not see very recently created prospects in the search results.

This feature is currently available for Outreach, Salesloft and Hubspot integrations. It will be turned on for Apollo shortly.
