Don't worry; we're here to help! Let's tackle this together with some easy steps to ensure you're back on track in no time.

Steps to Fix Camera and Microphone Permissions:

  1. Locate the Site Information Icon: In your address bar, right next to the Nooks.in URL, you'll notice a small icon. Click on it.

  2. Reset Permissions: Within the drop-down menu, find and select the "Reset Permissions" option. This will set everything back to its default state.

  3. Re-select Permissions: After resetting, you'll be prompted to re-grant the permissions. Kindly ensure you allow both camera and microphone access.

  4. Refresh Your Page: Once done, simply refresh your page. Everything should be up and running!

If this does not work, then Google Chrome may be setting your permissions to "Ask" instead of Allow, which can cause issues.

Changing from Ask to Allow:

  1. While looking at the Nooks page, select the Site Information icon once again

  2. Select the Site Settings button

  3. Go to the Microphone/Camera permissions and change them from Ask to Allow

  4. Head back to the Nooks tab and reload the page. You should now have full access to your devices to be used on Nooks!

Additional Tips:

Zoom Interference: If you have Zoom or any other video-conferencing app open in the background, it might be accessing your camera or microphone. This can occasionally cause interference with our platform. Consider closing these apps if they're not in use or checking their settings to ensure they're not hogging your devices.

Update Your Browser: Always ensure you're using the latest version of Google Chrome. Regular updates often fix known issues and enhance performance.

Restart Your Device: Sometimes, the oldest trick in the book works like a charm. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, try restarting your device.
