Project

A Project is the space where you manage and work on a single piece in Novela. Each project contains all the materials related to one work, allowing you to write and organize everything in one place.

Updated over a week ago

In Novela, every work is created and managed as its own project.

A project serves as a dedicated space for a single piece, helping you keep your writing, characters, and plot clearly organized.

Within a project, you can:

  • Write and organize your documents

  • Create and manage characters

  • Plan and adjust your plot

All related materials for a single work are grouped together in one project.

What’s inside a Project

Each project includes the following sections:

  • Documents

Write and manage your manuscript, notes, and reference materials.

  • Characters

Create and organize characters that appear in your work, including their details and roles.

  • Plot

Plan and structure the flow of your story by organizing key events.

These sections are designed to work together so you can manage your story efficiently as you write.

Working within a Project

Inside a project, you can move freely between documents, characters, and plot without leaving the workspace.

This makes it easier to write while checking character information or adjusting your story structure at the same time.

Each project is independent, so content from different works is kept completely separate.
