Step 1: Create Your Account
Enter your company email address, first name, and last name, then click Get Started.
Please note that if you see an “Optional” badge on a section, you can bypass that step. If you choose not to complete an optional step, simply click “Skip” to continue.
You’ll also have the option to select “Save for later” if you’d prefer to return to a required step at a later time or invite another user to complete it instead.
Step 2: Verify Your Company
Provide your company's legal name and Federal Tax ID Number (EIN or TIN).
A few things to know:
Your legal name is the name on file with the IRS, so it may not match the name you operate under. If you're a sole proprietor, this is often just your first and last name.
No EIN yet? You may be able to use your Social Security Number instead.
Operate under a different name? Add it in the DBA (Doing Business As) field once it appears.
Step 3: Enter Organization Details
Fill in a few more business details:
Your state of incorporation
Your organization type (pick the closest match if your exact type isn't listed)
Your business address
As you type your address, choose one of the suggested matches from the dropdown. If your address doesn't show up, select Enter address manually. You'll need to pick one of these two options before continuing.
After selecting the address from the dropdown, a modal may appear asking whether you’d like to use the validated address. You can select “Use Validated Address” (Recommended) or choose “Use Entered Address” to proceed with the address you originally entered.
Step 4: Select Your Company Role
Choose the option that best describes you:
Owner
Officer
Authorized Signatory (someone approved to sign on the business's behalf)
None of these fit? Select Staff, and you'll be asked for the contact information of whoever is authorized to sign.
Step 5: Application Information
Type your primary business address into the search bar and select it from the dropdown (this is required to continue). You'll also confirm here whether your business has a DBA name.
Step 6: Accounts Payable
Enter your Accounts Payable contact’s email address and phone number, along with your billing address. As with other addresses, begin typing the billing address in the search bar and select the correct option from the dropdown. You can also indicate whether purchase order numbers are required. If they are not required, leave the default response as is.
Step 7: Officers, Owners & Authorized Signatories
Add everyone who should be included on the application: owners, officers, and authorized signatories. For each person, include their email, phone number, and role or title. They will be invited to review and sign the application at the end of the application process.
Step 8: Business Locations
Add your business and shipping locations (as many as you need). For each one, type the address into the search bar and select it from the dropdown.
Step 9: Alcoholic Beverage License
Enter your license state and license number.
Step 10: Trade References
Please add trade references from vendors you've worked with in the past. These should be different from the vendor you're currently applying with. Ideally, include vendors that have previously extended a line of credit to your business. If that's not an option, you can provide any vendor who can speak to your business relationship.
If a reference doesn't automatically appear, click "Click here to enter contact details" to manually enter their information.
Step 11: Bank References
Search for your bank and select it from the dropdown. Don't see it? Choose Add Other Bank. Depending on the vendor's requirements, you can verify your bank details through Plaid or enter them manually.
Once you’ve confirmed your bank, you may have the option to complete a manual entry, if offered by the Vendor. Alternatively, you can click “Verify Reference” to securely connect your bank and complete an instant bank reference.
We recommend using “Verify Reference,” as it allows Plaid, our financial data partner, to securely connect to your bank and instantly verify your financial information. This can provide the Vendor with more complete financial insights and may increase your chances of being approved for credit.
Step 12: ACH Form
Want to pay via ACH? You may be asked to upload an ACH form.
Step 13: Identity Verification
Provide the requested personal information, typically your residential address, date of birth, and Social Security number. In some cases, vendors may ask you to upload a driver’s license or another form of identification instead. This information is requested solely to verify your identity with the IRS.
Step 14: Terms & Conditions
If you're an owner, officer, or authorized signatory, enter your e-signature exactly as it appears on your account. Signing confirms the information you've provided is accurate and that you agree to the Nuvo Technologies, Inc. Terms and Conditions.
Need someone else to sign instead? Select Request a signature to send it their way.
Step 15: Personal Guaranty
Some vendors also require a signed Personal Guaranty.
If it's marked Optional, click Skip (top right) to move on without signing.
Ready to sign? Do it yourself, or select Request a signature to send it to the right person.
Step 16: Review & Submit
Almost there, review your application for accuracy. To change anything, click into that field and select Edit. Once everything looks good, click Submit application.
