At Occupop, we take the security of your account and data seriously. To enhance the protection of your account, we are excited to introduce the new Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) feature. 2FA adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring you to provide a six-digit code in addition to your password. This guide will walk you through enabling and using the 2FA feature to keep your account safe.
Enabling 2FA π
Enabling 2FA for your Occupop account is simple. Here's how to do it:
Upon sign-in, click on "Settings" > "Company Settings"
Scroll down and click on the toggle button to enable two-factor authentication for all user accounts
Log out of your account
Try to log in again
Check your registered email for the authentication code
Enter the 6-digit code into the login page
Two-factor authentication is enabled and functioning for other users of the account. When the administrator of the account enables 2FA, it is also enabled for other users.
Testing 2FA
After enabling 2FA for your account, it's important to test its functionality to ensure it's working as expected. Here's how:
As an Administrator of the Occupop account, try to log into another user's account
You should be directed to a page with a modal to enter a six-digit authentication code.
Check your registered email for the authentication code.
Resending the authentication code:
In some cases, you may need to resend the authentication code. Here's how:
Try to log in again.
Click on "Resend Code."
The code should be resent to your email.
We highly recommend enabling 2FA to protect your data and maintain the integrity of your account. If you have any questions or encounter any issues while enabling or using 2FA, please don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance at support@occupop.com. Your security is our top priority, and we're here to help you every step of the way. πͺ
