Why Do Project Prices Vary

Two Projects with the same package can have different compensation. This is intentional — Ocus uses dynamic pricing.

The price is set when the Project is created — based on a predefined number of photos. When you claim a Project, the price shown is calculated on that number. You can see it before accepting.

The maximum number of photos for a Project is defined in the Project description — this is the number used to estimate the Project's value.

Compensation is calculated based on:

  • Number of images in the package (predefined, visible before you accept)

  • Project location

  • Urgency

  • Equipment required

  • Creator availability in the area

A minimum pricing threshold applies to all Projects.
