How to Manage Your Email Notifications

Ocus sends two types of email notifications to help you discover projects. Here's what they are and how to control them.

What you'll receive

Daily Digest

A daily email sent at 8am in your timezone featuring a curated selection of available Projects matched to your profile. Each Project shows the location, package details, and compensation.

Project Alerts

A real-time email sent when a Project that matches your profile or location becomes available. Each alert shows the Project name, address, package details, and a direct link to assign.

Managing your notifications

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications

  2. Use the toggle next to Daily Digest Notifications to turn it on or off

  3. Use the toggle next to Project Alert to turn it on or off

Snoozing Project Alerts

If you're temporarily unavailable, you can snooze Project Alerts instead of disabling them entirely.

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications

  2. Under Project Alert, enter a date in the Project alert snoozed until field

  3. Alerts resume automatically from that date

What not to do

Don't turn off Project Alerts permanently if you're only unavailable for a short period - use the snooze date instead. Disabling the toggle stops all Project Alerts with no automatic restart.
