What to tell the Merchant
"I need approval from Ocus before photographing anything beyond my current package. I'll contact them now."
Ask the Merchant to confirm their request in writing — by text message or email. This proof is mandatory to submit the upgrade request and share with the client.
Upgrades that are never allowed
Client | Rule |
DoorDash | No package upgrades allowed — If more items are listed in the description than the package covers, follow the package. |
Just Eat | No package upgrades allowed — Unless the client explicitly requests it. |
If you're on one of these Projects, inform the Merchant that the package is fixed — no exceptions.
If necessary, the merchant can turn to their customer point of contact.
Upgrades that require approval
Client | Rule |
Uber Eats EMEA | Max 30+1. Beyond that, client approval is required — Entitled to refuse. |
Lieferando Austria | Client agreement required before any upgrade — Entitled to refuse. |
FoodPanda | Regional contact approval required — Entitled to refuse. |
Do not photograph additional items until Ocus confirms the upgrade in writing.
How to submit an upgrade request
Contact Ocus via the chat bubble with:
Your Project ID
The number of additional photos requested by the Merchant
The written proof from the Merchant (SMS screenshot or email)
If the upgrade is more than 10 additional photos: a link to the files will be requested before the upgrade is confirmed — Support will review them first.
Do not upload media or close the Project until Support confirms the upgrade.
Rules that apply to all upgrades
Minimum increase: to go from a 10-photo pack to a 20-photo pack, at least 5 extra photos are needed — minimum 15 total
50% threshold: if the add-on doesn't reach at least 50% of the requested package volume, the upgrade will be declined
⚠️ Creators who submit repeated upgrade requests will be investigated. This may result in removal from the platform.
