Step 1: Log in to your PayPal account and go to "Wallet". Here, you can link bank accounts and debit/credit cards that fund your PayPal payments and allow you to withdraw your balance.
Step 2: Link a new bank account to your PayPal account by clicking on "Link a bank account".
Step 3: Click on "Link a bank account in the USA".
Step 4: Go to Offramp and find the details of the US account you will be using. Remember that your account is a checking account. Enter the details of your Offramp account in PayPal and complete the information.
IMPORTANT Skip the step related to setting up direct debits (by clicking on "Finish later") - PayPal may prompt you for this multiple times, but direct debits are not an option with Offramp accounts, so you must skip this step.
Step 5: Verify the details of your new bank account. PayPal verifies its users by sending a small transaction to their new bank account along with a unique 4-digit code as a reference.
This may take up to several days to arrive, but we hope it happens in less than a few hours. Keep checking your Offramp account to find this transaction. Enter the corresponding code in your PayPal "Wallet" as part of the "confirm your bank" process. This should verify your account. Usually transfers from PayPal to Offramp are processed in 3 to 6 business days. There are cases where the transfer may take 15 or more business days to be reflected in your Offramp account, even though “PayPal” shows the transfer as completed.
