For some context, curated packs are made up a 1+ unique supplement lines but the Shopify / assembly product ID is a single ID your store will pull every time. Packs can be adjusted in a few ways in the portal, but the Pack ID will always remain the same.
It is easiest to imagine it like you are ordering a pizza. If you were to order a personalized pizza you would be adding the topping one by one in the cart but curated packs are like ordering an already customized version, you would simply select the Hawaiian Pizza and checkout rather than adding the pineapple and the ham as separate items.
If you are offering personalized packs that your customers can build on their own, it's important to note that each single pill in your formulary has a distinct ID that differentiates itself from the other products.
β’ For Shopify users, we are able to map your current product to the new supplement. However, we do not overwrite your descriptions or other media on the product, so that is your responsibility to change if there is something like a supplement color change or adjustment to the potency / formulation.
β’ For API users, you will need to replace the old product's formulary ID (UUID) with the new product's formulary ID.
When it comes time to reorder products we carry, many variables go into deciding if we will reorder the exact same product or if we will investigate other manufacturers or formulations. In the case of deciding on ordering a different product this is called a product swap. A product swap could happen for a few reasons including: product availability, keeping prices affordable, the availability of higher quality products, reformulation of a blend based on new research etc...
