👟Walkthrough
1. Digital Wallet settings are available underneath the Marketing category on the side navigation.
2. When you click on the navigation, you will be led to this page. If you are a Platinum customer, on this page you will be able to upload a Logo image and customize background and text colors for digital wallet tickets.
3. Click on the image uploader to upload an image.
4. When you click on this and upload a file, you'll resize your image into a square, which is optimized for Google and Apple wallet.
5. Click on Crop to save changes.
6. The image you uploaded is now in preview on this page.
7. Click on the Color bar to open up the color selector.
8. In the color selector, you can use the picker to choose from the color spectrum, or you can enter RGB, HSL, HEX numbers at the bottom of the picker.
9. Once you have picked a color, it updates in the preview.
10. Next, select if you would like your text to be Black or White.
11. Click Save on the righthand side to save all changes.
12. At the bottom of this page, there is an automatically generated Live Preview of the tickets as they will be seen on patron's devices.
13. Click on Event.
14. When a patron purchases a ticket, they will see two calls to action buttons in their confirmation email - Add to Apple Wallet and Add to Google Wallet. Patrons should add these passes to whichever device they intend to use when they arrive at the event.
Clicking the “Add to ___ Wallet” button adds all tickets and add-ons from the order at once, even though each one appears individually in the device wallet.
15. When you click on Add To Wallet - your passes will be prepared.
16. This is the success message when your passes have been successfully prepared.
17. This is the screen on an Apple device where you can look at the passes you have added. Click Add in the top right corner to add to wallet.
18. If you buy an add-on - the background color of the digital wallet pass will align to the QR code colors, overriding any custom background color/text color your organization has set (see image below).
In this screenshot, because I bought an add-on AND a ticket - the button will appear as 'Add All' and on click, all passes associated with the order will go to your wallet.
🎓Recap
On The Stage’s Digital Wallet feature (available to Platinum users) allows patrons to easily add their tickets to Apple or Google Wallets. Organizations can customize the look and feel of wallet passes, and patrons receive simple “Add to Wallet” buttons post-purchase for a smoother, paperless check-in experience.
🚀 Best Practices
Use a square logo for best display results.
Customize colors to match your brand—but know that QR color settings from ticket add-ons will override wallet background colors.
Encourage patrons to add passes to their wallet in advance for quicker entry.
Test the preview to ensure formatting and branding appear correctly before going live.
