Offer exclusive Member benefits through the Members Only ticket type options.

👟Walk Through

To enable member only ticket types - when you are creating a membership package, click ‘Yes’ on the Member Only Ticket Types radio button.

In the screenshot below, even though the setting is on, there are no tickets assigned (yet).

When you make a Production, use the Advanced Settings tab on ticket type creation to choose a ticket type that is Members Only. Then, select which memberships can access this ticket.

When you return to the membership after you’ve created + assigned ticket types, you’ll see a list confirming which types are associated.

🎓 Recap

You can set up ticket types that are Members Only in On The Stage. When creating or editing a ticket type under the Advanced Settings tab, turn on the “Member Only Ticket Types” option, then specify which membership packages have access. Once assigned, those ticket types will only be visible or purchasable by members in the designated membership groups.

🚀 Best Practices

  1. 🔐 Restrict access intentionally — Only enable Members-Only ticket types when you want to offer exclusive perks or pricing to membership holders.

  2. 💬 Clearly communicate eligibility — On event pages and ticket descriptions, label which ticket types are for members only.

  3. 🎟️ Align with membership levels — If your organization has multiple membership tiers, assign ticket types accordingly (higher-tiers may get more or better “members-only” choices).
