Split Payments in Box Office
Box Office users can now collect multiple payments on a single order using the Allow Split Payment option during checkout. This is useful when a patron wants to pay using more than one payment method or make a partial payment at the time of purchase.
👟Walkthrough: How to Use Split Payments
In the left navigation menu, click Box Office. Click Purchase.
Select the event, tickets, and patron details, then click Checkout. The Select Checkout Method modal will appear.
Toggle on Allow Split Payment.
Once enabled, the Comp and Reserve options will become unavailable.
Select the first payment method and collect payment.
Enter the dollar amount you would like to collect or select one of the suggested amount pills.
After the payment is processed, the Payment Made modal will appear.
If you would like to collect an additional payment immediately, click Add Another Payment.
The Select Next Payment Method modal will appear. Select the next payment method and collect the additional payment. Repeat this process as needed until all desired payments have been collected.
When finished, click Exit & Reserve to save the order with a remaining balance.
The tickets will be placed in a reserved status if full payment is no received.
