What is the difference between the new seating chart builder and the former?
With the new builder, you can make changes to your past and current charts more easily.
You can make changes across multiple seating charts that is attached to one venue.
There are far more design features to support you and your patrons for a smooth transition from ticket buying to experiencing your shows live!

If you have worked within our earlier seating chart builder, start here:
To access your seating charts, go to Venue Management, then Seating Charts.
Here you will see an overview of all of your current and past seating charts.
Note: You cannot edit a seating chart that is currently in use in a Live production.
To edit a seating chart, click on the Edit button of the seating chart you would like to edit.
Here is a portion of your new left side menu of the seating chart builder:
Tools Tab: Selection
Select mode: allows you to select a single seat/row to move it, change the label, the status of the seat (Block, Box Office Only, Members Only), leave a comment, change the accessibility or color, or delete the seat.
In the Select and Select Seats view, you can select a range of seats to edit by clicking and dragging over a section to make changes to the entire section.
The Pan mode allows you to drag the seating chart to focus on one section at a time.
Now, the tools to create Reserved Seating and General Admission sections are in focused menus.
Reserved Seating menu
Row of seats allows you to add a single row
Block of rows allows you to add a whole block of rows or section
Rectangle table allows you to add a table with 6 seats automatically. You can adjust how many seats attached to the table by adjusting in the area above the main builder screen or the menu box on the right side.
Circle table allows you to add a round table with 8 seats automatically. You can adjust how many seats attached to the table by adjusting in the area above the main builder screen or the menu box on the right side.
General Admission menu
The GA (rectangle) allows you to add a rectangular section. You can change the label, capacity, and set minimums and maximums in the menu on the right side.
The GA (circle) allows you to add a circular section. You can change the label, capacity, and set minimums and maximums in the menu on the right side.
The GA (polygon) allows you to add a polygon section. You can change the label, capacity, and set minimums and maximums in the menu on the right side.
Booths Menu
Booth (rectangle) allows you to add a rectangular booth. Here you can adjust its size, label, capacity, and assign it to a section.
Booth (circle) allows you to add a circular booth. Here you can adjust its size, label, capacity, and assign it to a section.
Booth (polygon) allows you to create a shape that best suits your needs. Here you can adjust its size, label, capacity, and assign it to a section.
Decoration Menu
Text allows you to add any text you would like to your seating chart. You can change edit the text, size, and font color in the right side menu.
Rectangle allows you to add a rectangle anywhere to represent your venue's structure in your seating chart.
Circle allows you to add a circle anywhere to represent your venue's structure in your seating chart.
Polygon allows you to add any shape to represent your venue's structure in your seating chart.
Icon allows you to select from a series of icons to represent your venue's structure in your seating chart. You can add symbols for restrooms, accessibility areas, elevators, and much more!
Reference Menu
Stage allows you to indicate where the stage is located in your venue. You can change the text and size of it on the right side menu.
Focal Point allows you to indicate the directionality of your venue's set up show by show. *This may be helpful for shows in set ups other than proscenium set ups.
Note: To delete any object, simply select it and tap your Delete/Backspace button and confirm you would like to delete it when prompted. You can also select it and click on the Remove option in the bottom right side menu of the object you have selected.
Note: At any point, press Shift + ? to see all shortcuts! All you need to do is click on the key mentioned to get into that mode.
