Creating a hybrid production is simple! You might want to create a Hybrid site to expand your audience reach; offering digital performance options to patrons who would otherwise be unable to attend is a great way to boost revenue and increase visibility for your organization!

Log into your OTS Dashboard and click Create New:

Choose which type of event you would like to create:

Enter the Title of your event and which Publisher you are using, if applicable:

Next you will be asked to select your performance type. You can select the following options:

  • Live (In venue)

  • Live Broadcast

  • Recorded- Video On Demand

If you would like to do a hybrid performance, meaning you will have in person attendance and will also livestream the event, select both Live in Venue AND Live Broadcast.

Select your onsite seating style (general admission or reserved).

Select your Venue and then click Continue:

Next you will see this:

Click on Studio if you are planning on using Switcher Studio to stream your live performance or pre-recorded video, then click Continue:

Click on DIY if you are planning on using third party software to stream your live show or prerecorded video to On The Stage, then click Continue:

Add the dates of your production or you can skip this and add them later:

Set the fee structure for your event. Click Included if you would like to include the fees into the ticket cost, in which case your organization will pay them. Click Added On if you would like to pass on the ticket fees to your patrons:

Enter how many tickets are available (Total Capacity). You will asked to enter a live capacity and virtual capacity. You can change this later if needed:

Set your ticketing type and pricing, or you can skip this step and do it later:

This page will allow you to set your run time, enable donations, allow refunds/exchanges, or set a limit to the number of tickets a patron can purchase. Then click Create Production:

Now you can edit your website!

After you’ve edited your website, go to Show Details and click Review and Publish:

Check your boxes to make sure you have completed all of your checklist and then click Publish Your Site:

Your site is published!

Your show site will appear on your Dashboard! Congratulations!
