Ticket buyers purchase a ticket through the On The Stage website you created for your production. You - as the producer - will give out the website URL. Ensure you put it on all marketing materials for your production.

After a ticket buyer finalizes their ticket purchase(s), they will receive a confirmation email from On The Stage.

The confirmation email contains a unique, secure link that the ticket buyer will click to view the performance at the set performance date/time. If the button does not work, there is a URL under each button that a ticket buyer can copy and paste into the browser to view the performance.

🎭Noteworthy: If a ticket buyer purchases multiple tickets, they will get a separate link for each ticket they purchase. This way, if ticket buyers want to watch the show on separate devices, they can do so.

The unique links are tracked based on the device, meaning that only one device can use the link to watch the performance at a time.

This prevents ticket buyers from sharing this link, and ensures the link is secure.

If ticket buyers click on the link early, they will navigate to the page where they will view the performance. The date and time that the performance is scheduled will be shown. Ticket buyers will also get an email reminder one hour before the show. That reminder email will also provide the link to watch the performance.

🎓 Recap:
This article explains how livestream ticket holders can access and watch your production on the On The Stage platform. After purchasing a ticket, patrons receive a confirmation email containing a unique, secure link to view the performance at the scheduled date and time. This link ensures that only authorized viewers can access the livestream, maintaining the security and exclusivity of your event.

🚀 Best Practices:

  • 📣 Promote Your Show Site: Share your production's website URL on all marketing materials to guide patrons to the correct ticket purchase page.

  • 📧 Inform Patrons About Access Links: Clearly communicate that each ticket purchase generates a one-time unique link sent via email.

  • 🔒 Advise on Link Usage: Remind patrons that each link is tied to a specific device and cannot be shared or used on multiple devices simultaneously.

  • ⏳ Encourage Early Access Checks: Suggest that patrons click their viewing link before showtime to confirm details and avoid last-minute issues.

  • ⏰ Highlight Reminder Emails: Let patrons know they will receive a reminder email one hour before showtime with their access link for convenience.

By implementing these best practices, you ensure a smooth 🎬 viewing experience for your livestream audience, leading to happy patrons and a successful event!
