If you have donations made in addition to show specific ticket sales, that portion of donated funds will be included with your final settlement.

If you have donations made on your org site, that portion of donated funds will be paid out at the end of each month.

🎭Noteworthy: If a patron makes a donation tied with a ticket order, the donation will be paid out with that show's remittance after the show has passed.

You can view donations received under the Reports tab using the Donations Report.

🎓 Recap:

This article explains how On The Stage processes and disburses donated funds. Donations made in conjunction with ticket sales are included in the final settlement after the event concludes. Donations made directly through your organization's site are disbursed at the end of each month. Understanding this schedule helps in planning and managing your organization's finances effectively.

🚀 Best Practices:

  • Monitor Donation Timing: Be aware of when donations are processed—post-event for ticket-related donations and monthly for direct site donations—to manage cash flow effectively.

  • Communicate with Donors: Inform patrons about when their donations will be processed and acknowledged to maintain transparency and trust.

  • Plan Financials Accordingly: Align your budgeting and financial planning with the donation disbursement schedule to ensure funds are available when needed.

  • Utilize Reporting Tools: Regularly check On The Stage's reporting features to track incoming donations and settlements for accurate record-keeping.

  • Acknowledge Donations Promptly: Even though funds are disbursed later, send immediate acknowledgments to donors to express gratitude.
