Your OTS plan comes with a wide array of tools for your social media promoting needs, including automated 5 automated posts!

Updated over a month ago

There are a few reasons why you might want to utilize scheduled social media posts:

  • Automate your marketing so you don’t have to manually post reminders and updates.

  • Keep your event top-of-mind with a steady stream of scheduled content.

  • Promote your event across various connected social media accounts simultaneously.

  • Timely posts help build momentum and encourage early ticket purchases.

👟Walk Through

You can connect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and/or Twitter to your OTS social media dashboard. Here are the guidelines for OTS scheduled posts:

  • 5 scheduled posts per show are sent out from your OTS account.

  • Platinum Customers can customize the posts from their dashboard.

  • No additional posts can be scheduled per show. The limit is 5 per show.

  • You can choose to disable the posts at any time through your OTS dashboard. Please note this will also disable the promo emails sent out through your OTS account.

🎭Noteworthy: If you have pre-sales enabled, the social media posts will not begin until pre-sales end. Automated posts go out at 11am on the day they are scheduled. If you need to disable an upcoming post, please make sure to do it at least 24hrs prior to the scheduled release.

🎓 Recap

On The Stage’s Scheduled Social Media Posts feature lets you automate up to five promo posts per event, connecting your social accounts via the Ayrshare integration. Once setup, you can view, adjust, or disable these scheduled posts anytime through your Promote page—ensuring your social campaigning stays timely and aligned with your event's promotional goals.

🚀 Best Practices

  1. 📅 Plan Ahead with Consistency - Use the full quota of five scheduled posts to create a steady promotional series—aim to space them out strategically (e.g., opening announcement, reminders, countdown).

  2. 🔗 Verify Social Account Integration - Double-check that your Ayrshare-linked accounts are active and functioning before scheduling; posts won’t go out otherwise.

  3. ✏️ Customize Each Post - Even when using automated templates, tweak messaging and visuals slightly per platform to boost engagement and resonate better with each audience.

  4. 🚫 Monitor Schedules - Regularly check your Promote page to confirm upcoming posts are still relevant, disabling any that are outdated or unnecessary well before send time.
