🎓 Recap: Adding or Removing Seats from a Row
This article explains how to add or remove individual seats from a row within your seating chart in On The Stage. In the Sections tab, click the specific row to activate it, then use the white corner handles to drag outward to add seats or inward to remove them. Completely removing all seats in a row causes the row to disappear; you can later restore it using the "Add New Row" function. After making adjustments, you can move the new row to its proper position within the section. Always save changes to ensure updates take effect.
🚀 Best Practices for Editing Seats in a Row
➕ Drag seat handles carefully - Use the white corner boxes to add or remove seats visually—drag outward to add and inward to remove seats for precise layout control.
💾 Save after every adjustment - Whether adding or removing seats, always click Save Seating Chart to keep changes and prevent data loss.
🆕 Restore entire rows when needed - If a row disappears after all seats are deleted, use Add New Row to recreate it and reassign it correctly.
🔀 Reposition rows for flow - After adding a row, drag the center handle to reposition it so your seating chart accurately mirrors your venue.
