Adjusting Row Sequence (Seat Numbers) on Your Seating Chart

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Row Sequencing

You can change the seat numbers in an entire row by using the "Increases by:" field. This can be found in any section of your seating chart. This can also be seen when creating a new section.

This feature was used in a new section, labeled Balcony. The first seat number was 1, and each seat number increased by 2.

πŸš€ Best Practices for Row Sequencing

  1. πŸ”’ Start with clear numbering logic – Decide whether numbers increase sequentially (e.g., by 1 or 2) before adjusting to keep numbering intuitive.

  2. πŸ”„ Preview changes row by row – After updating one row’s sequence, verify that neighboring rows remain accurate and consistent.

  3. πŸ“˜ Align with venue layout – Set seat numbers that reflect physical placement or aisle proximity for easier reference.

  4. πŸ‘ Double-check changes before publishing – Confirm that the adjusted numbering works visually and functionally to avoid confusion during booking or on event day.
