🎭Noteworthy: If you are signed up for payouts through Check or Direct Deposit and NOT Stripe Connect, please contact your account manager to purchase the terminal for you.
Reach out to your Account Manager or Customer Support to enable the Credit Card Reader on your dashboard.
Once you receive your reader, you must register your reader on the OTS platform. On the lefthand panel, click ‘Credit Card Reader’, under the Settings tab.
Click on the connect button to get started on registering your reader.
This new modal will ask for the following necessary information to register your new reader. Those are:
Reader Label - This will be used to differentiate between different readers, you can label your reader however you want (i.e. “Front Lobby,” “Rear Lobby,” “Box Office”)
Reader Address - A US address where the reader is going to be used, the address information is used to keep track of different readers across multiple physical locations. Note: Your reader doesn't need to be in the location to be used, this is just a label to help to keep track of different readers.
Registration Code - A code generated by the reader used for registering to an account. To get the code the user must access the reader settings and click on "Generate pairing code".
Your reader is now ready to be used as a payment method!
🎭 Noteworthy: For organizations with a parent/child structure, the same reader CANNOT be used for multiple accounts. The reader can be set up for one account only. I.E. If there is a parent organization with 2 child orgs, they will need 3 separate readers.
