If you would like to process subscription seats for your subscribers instead of having them select their seats show by show online, this article will teach you how. First, read below some use cases for this option.

You might want to process subscriptions and select seats for your subscribers in the Box Office Portal because:

  • You want to reserve specific seats for each patron on a certain night.

  • You want to offer a service where VIPS seats are predetermined.

  • You want to assist subscribers who are not technologically savvy.

Now, let's walk you through the process!

  • Create the productions for your subscriptions.

  • Set the presale dates in your subscription shows.

    • Turn off ticket sales in the productions details; online ticket sales will be closed even for subscribers, but you will still be able to access them through the Box Office Portal.

  • Process a subscription order for your patron or have them purchase the package online. This will ensure that their package subscription is ready for seating.

  • Now, go to the Box Office Portal to select their seats.

    • You can do this from your main dashboard by clicking on Box Office Portal next to the show and selecting the show date.

      • Select the Subscription ticket type for the ticket.

  • Once the seats are added to your cart, select Checkout.

  • At check out, find the subscriber form the drop down to assign seats. You can do this by starting to type their name or email.

  • Push the red Done button.

  • The following box will pop up to verify the subscription holder and their plan as well as show you how many tickets have been redeemed.

  • Push the red Done button.

  • A notification will appear letting you know the order has been processed and a confirmation will be sent to the patron.

  • Turn back on ticket sales when you are done so the presale opens to other subscribers.
