Venue changes happen. Here is how to change your venue before and after publishing your site.

Reasons to Change Your Venue Before Publishing

  1. Venue Availability Changes: The originally planned venue becomes unavailable due to scheduling conflicts or maintenance.

  2. Capacity Needs: You realize you need a venue that holds more (or fewer) attendees than initially expected.

  3. Technical Requirements: The original venue may lack the lighting, sound, or stage equipment needed for your production.

  4. Location Preferences: You may find a more convenient or accessible venue for your cast, crew, or audience.

Reasons to Change Your Venue After Publishing

  1. Last-Minute Issues: Unexpected emergencies, like weather damage or double-bookings, make the original venue unusable.

  2. Audience Feedback: Attendees express concerns about the location (e.g., parking, accessibility), prompting a change.

  3. Better Opportunity: A better venue becomes available after publishing, offering improved amenities or location.

  4. Promotional Alignment: Your marketing or ticket sales strategy might shift, requiring a venue change to match new logistics.

👟 Walk Through

You can change your event's venue before or after publishing! Under show's details, click on the Edit button just to the right of Venue Details. Select the venue you would like to switch to and push Save.

You will be able to add any venue that is already input in your system. If you need to add a venue, click on Venue under Venue Management your main dashboard and add it first.
