🎓 Recap
On The Stage makes creating add-ons easy via the Additional Revenue → Add‑Ons & Merchandise menu. Click the red “+” button to open the creation modal, choose whether the add-on is tied to a specific production or all events, select a category (Parking, Alcohol, Merchandise, etc.), set inventory controls, pricing (online vs. venue), and upload an image. Once configured and toggled “On Sale,” add-ons appear in both online and in-venue checkout flows.
🚀 Best Practices
Select relevant add-ons that enhance your event—think convenience, novelty, or experience boosters.
Use clear visuals and descriptions: upload high-quality images and concise text.
Manage inventory smartly: set per-performance limits to avoid overselling.
Differentiate pricing: offer slightly cheaper online versus in-person to incentivize early purchases.
Order and highlight strategically: use the dashboard to control add-on display priority.
Utilize variants when offering size or type options (e.g., small/large popcorn).
