Residential Loan Origination Fees

Our Residential Solar and Battery Loans include loan origination fees. These are standard for consumer loans and are automatically rolled into the loan amount to be financed over the term of the loan.

Flat Origination Fee

  • $1,125.00 total

    • Underwriting Fee: $750.00

    • Documentation Fee: $375.00

State-Specific Doc Stamps (if applicable)

Some states also require document stamps (Doc Stamps), which are calculated as a cost per $100 financed:

  • Florida (FL): $0.35 per $100 financed

  • Tennessee (TN): $0.35 per $100 financed

  • Maryland (MD): $0.90 per $100 financed

Important Notes for Installers and Homeowners

  • Do not add these fees to your contract price. They are automatically included in the loan balance.

  • If a project is canceled after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) has been issued, the customer is responsible for paying the loan origination fees. These represent the hard costs of processing the loan.

  • Why This Matters

The loan origination process involves underwriting, documentation, and compliance work that incurs costs regardless of whether a project is ultimately completed. Because of this, customers who cancel after NTP remain responsible for these fees.
