When Can a Homeowner Pay Off Their Loan?

After the Loan Is Fully Funded

  • A homeowner may pay off their loan at any time once the loan is fully funded

  • This includes:

    • Shortly after installation

    • After PTO

    • Any time after funding is complete

      Are There Prepayment Penalties?

      • No prepayment penalties

      • No minimum hold period

      • No limits on how early a homeowner can pay off the loan after funding

      What Installers Should Tell Homeowners

      • Once the loan is fully funded, they are free to:

        • Pay off the loan in full

        • Make early principal payments

      • There are no fees or penalties for early payoff

      • For exact payoff amounts or instructions, homeowners should contact the bank directly

      Important Notes for Installers

      • Installers do not control or approve payoff timing

      • Payoff questions should be directed to the bank once funding is complete

      • This policy applies regardless of how soon after installation the customer wants to pay
