Adding a new roof in a solar loan
New roofs/re-roofs can be financed as part of a solar loan. The cost will be rolled into the loan. The cost associated with the new roof will need to be itemized on the customer's contract.
Funding for roof costs
The entire roof cost will be funded to the installer as the first phase of the funding process, before phase one. For more information on our funding stages, check out this article.
Minimum loan amounts
Please note that the cost for the PV portion of the project must still exceed the minimums, not including the roof or storage costs. For residential solar loans, this minimum is $10,000. For commercial loans, this is $25,000.
