Connecting your Google Analytics to OneSite allows you to track visitor data, measure performance, and better understand how your website is performing — all powered by GA4.
Follow the steps below to connect your account through the Site Tuner.
Step 1: Publish Your Website
Inside the Site Tuner, go to the top-right corner of the screen
Click Publish
Wait for your website to publish successfully
A pop-up will appear with an option for Google Analytics
Step 2: Start the Google Analytics Connection
In the pop-up, find the Google Analytics section
Click Edit
You’ll be redirected to a Google sign-in page
Step 3: Sign In and Grant Permissions
Sign in to the Google account where your website’s Google Analytics is set up (or where you want to set it up)
Allow all permission options requested by Google
You’ll be redirected back to the Site Tuner pop-up titled "Connect Your Google Analytics Account"
Step 4: Select or Create Your GA4 Account
You have two options:
If you already have a GA4 account:
Select your account from the list
Click on Connect and then on Confirm & Close
If you need to create a GA4 account:
Click Create New Account +
On the next page, review the terms and conditions
Select the first two checkboxes (the last ones are optional)
Click Accept
You’ll be redirected back to the Site Tuner with a confirmation message that your GA4 account is connected
Click Confirm & Close
Step 5: Publish Again
Once you close the pop-up and return to the Site Tuner, you’ll need to:
Click Publish again
This ensures the changes take effect on your live website
Step 6: View Your Analytics in GA4
To check your data:
Log in to your GA4 account
At the top, click Merchant Performance
Select the account linked to your website
Go to Properties & Apps and click Open
Use the left-hand menu to explore:
Reports
Realtime Overview
Other GA4 tools now connected to your site
That’s it! Your Google Analytics account is now connected, and you can start monitoring real-time traffic, visitor behavior, and website performance directly through GA4.
