Connecting your Google Analytics to OneSite allows you to track visitor data, measure performance, and better understand how your website is performing — all powered by GA4.

Follow the steps below to connect your account through the Site Tuner.

Step 1: Publish Your Website

  1. Inside the Site Tuner, go to the top-right corner of the screen

  2. Click Publish

  3. Wait for your website to publish successfully

  4. A pop-up will appear with an option for Google Analytics

Step 2: Start the Google Analytics Connection

  1. In the pop-up, find the Google Analytics section

  2. Click Edit

  3. You’ll be redirected to a Google sign-in page

Step 3: Sign In and Grant Permissions

  1. Sign in to the Google account where your website’s Google Analytics is set up (or where you want to set it up)

  2. Allow all permission options requested by Google

  3. You’ll be redirected back to the Site Tuner pop-up titled "Connect Your Google Analytics Account"

Step 4: Select or Create Your GA4 Account

You have two options:

If you already have a GA4 account:

  • Select your account from the list

  • Click on Connect and then on Confirm & Close

If you need to create a GA4 account:

  1. Click Create New Account +

  1. On the next page, review the terms and conditions

  2. Select the first two checkboxes (the last ones are optional)

  1. Click Accept

  2. You’ll be redirected back to the Site Tuner with a confirmation message that your GA4 account is connected

  3. Click Confirm & Close

Step 5: Publish Again

Once you close the pop-up and return to the Site Tuner, you’ll need to:

  1. Click Publish again

  2. This ensures the changes take effect on your live website

Step 6: View Your Analytics in GA4

To check your data:

  1. Log in to your GA4 account

  2. At the top, click Merchant Performance

  3. Select the account linked to your website

  4. Go to Properties & Apps and click Open

  5. Use the left-hand menu to explore:

    • Reports

    • Realtime Overview

    • Other GA4 tools now connected to your site

That’s it! Your Google Analytics account is now connected, and you can start monitoring real-time traffic, visitor behavior, and website performance directly through GA4.
