How to opt-out a customer through LocalContacts

Prevent certain customers from receiving review Requests or LocalMessages messages

Sometimes you don't want all of your customers to be part of your marketing campaigns, and sometimes they don't want to be either. It happens. Luckly you can use LocalContacts to opt people out of communications so they can no longer receive messages or emails from the OneLocal marketing platform.

Here's how to prevent a customer from receiving messages:

  1. Go to LocalContacts and search for the contact you want to opt-out of communications

  2. Click on their name

3. Click on Edit, right upper corner


4. Click on Edit Contact Details from the dropdown list.

5. You can choose to exclude their email, phone or both from receiving communications. Just click on the field you wish to change and select Opted Out.

6. You can click Save.
