Step 1: Call up Onepage domain settings

Go to Settings ➡️ Domain settings

Step 2: Add domain

Please add your subdomain without www.
For example: offer.yoursite.com

Then click on Next step.

⚠️ Important: Most domain providers do not allow you to connect the main domain without a subdomain (such as “offer”) via CNAME.

If you want to use your domain without a subdomain, we recommend selecting the A-Record method.

Step 3: Copy the correct values

Here you have an overview of the required values. Please copy these.

Step 4: Register with GoDaddy

Open GoDaddy, log in and go to Domain Portfolio. You can then select your desired domain.

Step 5: Open DNS settings

Select DNS to view the DNS-Records.

Step 6: Click on “Add New Record”

Select Add New Record.

Step 7: Select CNAME

Select CNAME for the "Type".

Step 8: Set and save entry

Please set the entry as follows:

  • Typ: CNAME

  • Name: e.g. offer

  • Value: whitelabel.onepage.io

  • TTL: 1 Hour (or keep the default value)

and then click on Save.

⚠️Important: The connection of the subdomain can take a few hours (up to 48 hours in rare cases). It is therefore possible that the domain is not immediately accessible.

🎉 The connection between Onepage and GoDaddy is now set up! 🎉
