How to integrate a custom sender using Mailchimp

This article will show you how to connect a custom sender for your transactional emails using Mailchimp

In this article, you will find detailed instructions on how to add a custom email sender for your form and quizzes using "Mailchimp".

Before you start, you should know that "Transactional Email" is available in Mailchimp as an add-on to Standard and higher monthly Marketing plans. To learn more, check out About Mailchimp Pricing Plans and Transactional Email Pricing.

STEP 1: Create a Mailchimp account.

STEP 2: Verify your domain in Mailchimp.

STEP 3: Verify the domain in Mandrill app

You will find instructions directly in the Mandrill App on how to fully verify your domain.

Click in Mandrill the following:

Settings- Domains- Sending Domains

On the right side, you will find the instructions.

The domain verification should look like below:

STEP 4: Generate an API Key in Mandrill app.

STEP 5: Integrate Mailchimp into Onepage

Please go into the quiz or form where you want to integrate Mailchimp.

Create an email template or choose one template that you already created.

Click in the template on the field "From".

Click on "+Connect custom sender".

Select "Mailchimp".

Add the email address that you connected already with Mailchimp under the field "Sender", your name under the field "From name" and the API Key that you previously generated in Mandrill under the field "API Access key".

Click on "Save integration".
