Are you tired of exporting reports, uploading them to emails, and sending them to your directors? Well, OneUp's automated Report feature will be perfect for you.

Just choose the Report you'd like to send, when/how often to send it, and who needs to receive it. Who doesn't love saving time on sending emails?

Setting up an automated Report email

1. Create a new workflow

  1. Navigate to the Workflows page via your navigation bar.

  2. On the new page, click Create Workflow in the top right corner.

  3. Select A scheduled date/time occurs as the source event.

  4. Give your workflow a relevant name and click Create.

2. Set up your trigger (tell OneUp when you want the Report to be sent)

  1. Select the date/time you want the first Report email to be sent. The timezone setting allows you to choose the correct time for this report to be sent in that timezone.

  2. Optional: Turn on the Repeat? toggle to receive emails containing the report on a recurring basis. Read up on the different configuration options and use cases here.

  3. Once you're happy, click Save.

The example above shows a Report being sent out every Monday at 9am

3. Add a new stage (tell OneUp which Report to send and to whom)

  1. Click the + underneath the Trigger setup you just created.

  2. Choose Email Report.

  3. Select which Report you'd like to send from the list - this mirrors the reports you have configured on the Report Manager page of the platform.

  4. Select individual OneUp users, or whole teams as recipients (find out about how to configure this here).

  5. Click Save.

The email received will contain your Report as an Excel spreadsheet attachment and have a link to the Report on your OneUp platform.

Targets that you have set against any metrics in the chosen view will be visible in the export, and values will be colour coded based on your chosen target boundary settings.

Tips 💡

  • If you'd like to send multiple reports in a single automation, you can do so! Simply click the + button underneath the last stage to add another 'Email Report' option. You can choose to send it to the same users, or different users if you wish.

  • If you are sending the report to a user/users in a particular timezone, setting the timezone at this stage will ensure the data in the report is captured in the correct range according to the timezone chosen.
