OneUp now has the ability to highlight key information on the record that fired a trigger, complete with a gorgeous fresh coat of paint!

In the bottom area of the TV flash configuration on the Triggers page, there is now a box for dictionary fields:

This box obtains information from the Dictionary definitions and Data Insights view for the metric you've chosen to fire the trigger for. For more information on how to access Data Insights to see what's available to you, see this article on the Analytics Modal, and this article on the Dictionary.

Setting up Data Insights powered fields in triggers

  1. Navigate to the Triggers page by going to Automate in the navigation at the top of your screen.

  2. Click on the trigger you'd like to edit, and select Configure on the TV Flash action to customise it.

๐ŸšจIf you've not set up a trigger before, use this article to create your trigger, then come back here.๐Ÿšจ

  3. In the new window, click the dropdown box for Additional Fields.

  4. You'll be presented with options based on the metric you've chosen to fire the trigger. Select the options you'd like to see.
โ€‹Note: A maximum of six fields can be selected.

  5. Once you've chosen your fields, click Save Changes to save the trigger configuration!

Troubleshooting additional fields

I'm not able to select additional fields

If you aren't able to select additional fields for your trigger, this could be because

  • The trigger condition does not fire 'in a single data event', and instead is set to 'in a day/week/month'. Currently, these options are not supported.

  • There is more than one condition set for the trigger. Currently, only one condition is allowed for Data Insights powered triggers to function.

  • There is no configured dictionary definition for the metric that fires the trigger. You can use this article to configure a dictionary definition.

  • The metric that fires the trigger is a manual metric (not configured to get data from your CRM), and as such, has no related additional information attached to it.

I had set up additional fields for my trigger, but now they're gone

If you had additional fields configured, but they've disappeared, this could be because

  • The dictionary definition has changed for this metric. In this case, OneUp automatically removes the additional fields.

I can see an error message in the configuration box

If this happens, it's likely the metric that fires the trigger has been changed. If this is the case, you'll see the following error:

To resolve this, either change the condition metric back to how it was previously, or select the clear the existing additional information fields option to clear the configuration.
