Setting up the Student Scope page in jmc Office

The Student Scope page in jmc Office serves as a central hub for accessing key student information at a moment’s notice.

Get a dashboard view of the most important student information—all in one convenient place. Quickly prepare for student interactions without navigating multiple pages by bringing the data you need into a single, customizable view. Choose up to six essential data points, arrange them in your preferred order, and select a student to view or print key details at a glance.

To get started, go to the View Student Data page in jmc Office.

Step One: Enter a student's name in the "Find" field to view their Student Scope page.

Helpful Tip: Use the "Grade" drop-down list to filter students by selecting "All Active," "All Inactive," "All," or a specific grade level.

Step Two: Click the "Student Scope" link in the Quick Links section to view a dashboard of key information for the selected student.

Step Three: Use the drop-down list in each of the six dashboard boxes to select the data you’d like to display and customize your Student Scope view.

  • Attendance: a year-to-date snapshot of a student’s attendance, showing the number of days present, absent, or tardy since the start of the school year

  • Schedules: a student’s current course schedule, including the course number, term, teacher’s name, and room number for each class

  • Student Lunch Transactions: a view of the family lunch balance along with a detailed history of transactions, including the date and amount of
    each entry

  • Period Attendance: a class-by-class attendance record showing excused and unexcused absences and tardies for each period, along with the reason for

    each entry

  • Discipline: a record of student discipline incidents, including the problem behavior, incident location, reporter, actions taken, and any comments

  • Health Immunizations: a student’s immunization history, including the immunization date, dosage, whether it was administered at school, whether it is valid, and any comments

  • Report Cards: a student’s report card displaying final course grades for each reporting term

  • Student Contacts: a list of all contacts linked to a student, including contact type (primary, lunch, fee, and more), address, email address(es), password, and phone number(s)

  • Student Photo: the student’s photo on file in jmc

  • Student Progress Report: a real-time view of a student’s course progress, including grades, assignments, scores, and formative assessment results

  • Student Screen Viewable Test Scores: standardized test results that can be viewed in jmc Family and jmc Student

  • Student Transcript Viewable Test Scores: standardized test results that appear on a student’s transcript

  • Student Transcript: an unofficial transcript summarizing a student’s academic history, including courses, grades, GPA, credits earned and attempted, and

    class rank

Step Four: Click the "Print" button in any dashboard box to print the selected information for future reference.
