Not using jmc’s Teacher Gradebook? No problem! You can manually enter student classroom grades in jmc Office with ease. Simply search for the courses you need, enter grades, and add comments—all with just a few clicks. This feature offers flexibility and control over grade entry, ensuring accurate records and smooth reporting—no Teacher Gradebook required!

To manually enter grades and comments for a class, log in to jmc Office and navigate to Grading > Entry > List Entry.

Step One: Choose a term type from the drop-down list, then select the radio button for the specific term you want to enter grades for.

Step Two: Select a radio button to enter student grades by course number or teacher, then complete the appropriate fields:

  • Sequential Course Entry: enter a range of course numbers in the "From" and "To" fields

  • Random Course Entry: select the course(s) you want to add grades for

  • By Teacher: choose the correct teacher from the list

Step Three: Click the "Search" button to view courses matching your criteria.

Step Four: Select a class from the "Courses" drop-down list to begin entering grades.

Step Five: Use the appropriate drop-down lists to assign grades and/or comments for specific students in the selected course.

Step Six: Click the "Save" button to update the students' grades.

Helpful Tip: Want to enter grades for another course? Simply select a new course from the "Courses" drop-down list.

Fun Fact: Need to adjust a specific student's grade? Navigate to Grading > Entry > Edit Grades to make manual changes for individual students.
