Running a Grade Point Averages report

View the total credits earned and grade point averages for selected students with the Grade Point Averages report in jmc Office.

Easily generate a comprehensive summary of student GPAs with the "Grade Point Averages" report in jmc Office to quickly view information that contributes to graduation, college admission, scholarships and other awards. Select a student or group of students to view current, live and cumulative grade point averages along with credits earned during a term, helping you stay informed about student progress.

To run a GPA report, log in to jmc Office and navigate to Grading > Reports > Grade Point Averages

Step One: Select a term type from the "Term Type" drop-down list and specify a term by clicking the appropriate radio button to filter the "Grade Point Averages" report.

Step Two: Select a radio button to narrow the range of students included in the "Grade Point Averages" report.

  • By Sequential: a range of student IDs entered in the "From" and "To" fields

  • By Random: one or more students selected by name or student ID in the "Find" drop-down list

  • By Grade: a single grade level or a range of grade levels entered in the "From" and "To" drop-down lists

  • By Advisor: a range of advisor IDs entered in the "From" and "To" fields

Step Three (optional): Customize your GPA report by placing a checkmark in one or more of the following checkboxes:

  • Display Live GPA: includes current published jmc Teacher grade information in the GPA calculation

  • Include Incomplete GPAs in Average: includes students with "Incomplete" grades in the report

  • Calculate as Unweighted GPA: displays student GPAs without weighted adjustments

Step Four: Click the "Preview" button to view grade point averages, credits earned and total averages for the selected students. 

Step Five: Click the "Print" button to print the "Grade Point Averages" report or click the "Export" button to export the report to a CSV file.
