Printing or emailing custom made report cards is an easy way to inform families of a student's academic progress at the end of the term. Once you've made your custom report cards with jmc's Form Designer, simply choose the term type, select the custom report card form and print or email the report cards to accurately communicate end of term student achievement with families and students.

To print and email custom report cards, log in to jmc Office and head to Grading > Reports > Print Report Card Forms.

Step One: Select the term type from the "Term Type" drop-down list and specify a term to print report cards.

Step Two: Choose the appropriate radio button to select the range of report cards to print by student.

  • By Sequential: enter a range of student IDs in the "From" and "To" fields

  • By Random: select one or more students by entering their name or student ID in the "Find" drop-down list

  • By Grade: enter a grade level range in the "From" and "To" drop-down lists

  • By Advisor: enter a range of advisor IDs in the "From" and "To" fields

Step Three: Select the appropriate building from the "School" drop-down list to print custom report cards from a specific jmc building within your district.

Step Four: Select the custom report card you would like to print and email in the "Select Form" scrolling list.

Helpful Tip: Need to make changes to a report card? Head to Form Designer > Report Cards to edit existing or create new report cards.

Step Five: Place a checkmark in the "Email if Possible" checkbox to email your custom report card to primary contacts.

Step Six: Place a checkmark in the "Email Student" checkbox to email custom report cards to both students and families.

Step Seven: Enter an email address in the "Reply to Address" field to receive a reply to your email.

Step Eight: Click the "Choose File" button to add a file from your computer as an email attachment.

Step Nine: Enter an email message in the message box for display in the body of the email.

Step Ten: Click in the "Messages" field to add or delete a unique message on the bottom of your custom report card for all grades or for selected grade levels.

  • Click the "Clear" button to remove any previous messages.

  • Place a checkmark next to the appropriate grade level and enter a message in the field to add to the report card of the students of that grade level.

  • Click the "Update" button to save all changes to messages.

Helpful Tip: Add a little pizzazz to your message using the formatting tools. Font, weight, size, the sky's the limit. Even insert a link by using the globe icon.

Step Eleven: Click the "Print" button to print and email your custom report card.
