The attendance report for a student in jmc Teacher displays the number of absences or tardies a student has accumulated over a set period of time to help you get a handle on student attendance before it becomes a problem. Choose the student(s) you would like to review, select a date range, then preview and print a list of all reported absences or tardies for each class period throughout the day along with totals of excused and unexcused absences or tardies over the date range.
To run an attendance report for a student, log in to jmc Teacher and navigate to Classroom Attendance > Reports > For a Student.
Step One: Click the name of a student from the "Available Students" box to select one or more students to include in the attendance report.
Helpful Tip: Accidentally click the wrong student? No problem! Simply click their name in the "Selected Students" box and they will be removed from the list.
Fun Fact: Students rostered to a course on your schedule or listed as an advisee will be included in the "Available Students" list.
Helpful Tip: Place a checkmark in the "All Students" checkbox to include every student in your building in the "Available Students" list if it is permitted by your school.
Step Two: Click a date from the "Day From" and "Day To" boxes to select the range of attendance dates to include in the report.
Step Three: Click the "Preview" button to view the absence and tardy report for the selected students over the selected date range.
Fun Fact: The attendance report will display a list of dates that include period absences or tardies along with the total number of excused and unexcused absences or tardies for a complete picture of the student's attendance record.
Step Four: Click the "Print" button to print or save the attendance report for the specified student(s).
