Get jmc running: Part one

The first step in getting jmc running is to create an IIS application pool for each of the sections.

The sections of jmc are: 

  • Office

  • Lunch

  • Family

  • Scheduler

  • Student

  • Teacher

Each section has a folder in the Default Web Site folder on the web server. To configure them, perform the following steps:

Step One: Go to the "Start" menu in the bottom left corner.

Step Two: From "Administrative Tools", open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

Step Three: In the IIS Manager, click on the "+" in the upper left corner next to your server name.

Step Four: Click on "Application Pools" and then "Add Application Pool..." in the upper right corner of the window.

Step Five: In the "Add Application Pool" window, type in the name of the application pool you want to create, change the .net Framework Version to .NET Framework v4.0.30319, and click "OK".

Step Six: Repeat these steps until you have a new application pool for each section listed above.
