Move-Up season is here! Preparing your jmc database for the upcoming school year is quick and easy. By completing a short online form, the jmc team will guide your data through the Move-Up process—advancing students to their next grade level and preparing your system for the year ahead.

A Move-Up is more than just rolling data forward. It’s a reset and readiness window that helps set up schedules, terms, and key settings, re-establish best practices, and uncover opportunities to use jmc tools more efficiently. After collecting your contact and building information, along with any new modules you’d like to add, the jmc team will complete the setup so you’re ready to start the new school year with confidence.

To begin, visit the jmc 2026-2027 Move-Up Form and click the "Start" button.

Step One: Enter your 3 or 4-digit client number, located on the jmc Office login page, in the “Client #” field to identify your district.

Step Two: Enter your name, email address, and phone number in the designated fields so our technical support specialists can contact you if needed, then click the "OK" button to continue.

Step Three: Select the number of buildings you currently have in jmc from the available options, then click the “OK” button to proceed.

Fun Fact: There’s no need to include your "District" in your building count—we only need building-level information.

Step Four: Enter the name and student count of your first jmc school building in the designated fields, then click the "OK" button to continue.

Step Five: Repeat steps four and five for each additional jmc building, then click the “OK” button to proceed.

Step Six: Select the number of new buildings you’d like to add to your jmc database, or choose "No thank you" from the list of options, then click the "OK" button to proceed.

Helpful Tip: Planning to add a new building? Be sure the building has been approved by your state’s Department of Education first. Only approved buildings can be added to your jmc database.

Step Seven: If you added new buildings in step six, enter the name of the new buildings in the corresponding field.

Step Eight: Select an option on the "Modules" page to indicate whether you will add new modules or keep your current features and configuration, then click the "OK" button to continue.

Step Nine: If you selected "We’d like to add additional modules!" in step eight, select the modules you’d like to add for the 2026–27 school year, then click the "OK" button to proceed.

Fun Fact: Modules on the Move-Up form are grouped into categories to make it easier to review options and identify which tools may be useful for your school.

Step Ten: Select an option on the "District Sandbox" page to indicate whether you want to add a district sandbox for the 2026–27 school year, then click the "OK" button to continue.

Fun Fact: The district sandbox allows schools to explore different scheduling options and features without affecting live data. It includes a copy of data from one school building.

Step Eleven: Enter any additional questions or comments on the "Additional Feedback" page to assist jmc technical support specialists during your Move-Up, then click the "OK" button to continue.

Step Twelve: Select a 1–5 star rating to indicate your overall experience with jmc during the last school year, then click the "Submit" button to send your Move-Up Form to the jmc team.
