Assigning passwords is key to giving students and families jmc access, allowing them to track grades, attendance, lunch accounts, and access all the essential school communications! Individually assigning passwords and communicating those credentials to every user is time-consuming and confusing! With jmc, batch assign passwords and then share them with your families!

Get new students and families up and going with access to jmc Student and jmc Family in a few, simple steps by heading to File > Administrator Options.

Step One: Click the "Set random student and parent passwords" link to view the username and password reset page.

Step Two: Click the "Initialize Student Usernames and Passwords" button to set a username and password for students that currently do not have them.

A few helpful tips:

  • Click the "Randomize Student Passwords" button to generate a random password for all students.

  • Head to the "General" tab of the View Student Data page to enter a username and password for an individual student.

Step Three: Click the "Initialize Parent Passwords" button to set a password for all primary parent contacts that currently do not have one.

A few helpful tips:

  • Click the "Randomize Parent Passwords" button to generate a random password for all parents.

  • Head to the Attendance > Contacts > Edit Contacts page to enter a username and password for an individual primary contact.

Fun Fact: There is no need to generate a username for jmc Families. The default jmc Family username for a contact is the contact's last name as it appears in Attendance > Contacts > Edit Contacts.
