Initializing contact phone numbers in jmc Office enables you to easily send calls and text messages to contacts, ensuring your important messages reach families effectively. With a few simple clicks, you can initialize primary contacts to receive emergency/weather-related messages and SMS (text messages). It's a quick and straightforward process that allows you to start communicating with families efficiently.


Head to File > Administrator Options in jmc Office to start initializing contact phone numbers.


โ€‹Step One: Click the "Initialize Contact Phone Numbers" link in the "Phone Settings" box to begin enabling contacts to receive messages.

Step Two: Click the "Initialize Contact Phones Ranked #1" button in the "Emergency/Weather Related" box to enable primary contacts to receive emergency or weather related messages.

Step Three: Click the "Initialize Contact Phones Ranked #2" button in the "Emergency/Weather Related" box to enable emergency contacts to receive emergency or weather related messages.

Step Four: Click the "Initialize Student Cell Phones" to enable students to receive emergency or weather related messages.

Step Five: Click the "Initialize Contact Phones Cell #1" in the "SMS (Text Message)" box to enable primary contacts to receive SMS (text) messages.

Step Six: Click the "Initialize Contact Phones Cell #2" in the "SMS (Text Message)" box to enable emergency contacts to receive SMS (text) messages.

Step Seven: Click the "Initialize Student Cell Phones" button in the "SMS (Text Message)" box to enable students to receive SMS (text) messages.

Fun Fact: After clicking each button to initialize contacts or students, a confirmation message will appear, indicating the number of contacts or students that have been successfully updated.
