The "Direct Admissions MN" page in jmc Office provides a clear overview of a student's post-secondary education opportunities. Let jmc handle the heavy lifting by identifying academic tiers, unweighted GPAs, and English/Math/Science GPAs, so you can easily review eligibility status and student selections for college admissions for your 11th and 12th graders.

To review student eligibility status and college selections, head to Grading > Transcripts > Direct Admissions MN in jmc Office.

Step One: Select "Grades 11 & 12", "Grade 11" or "Grade 12" from the drop-down list to view student names, academic tiers, unweighted GPAs, English/Math/Science GPA's and the college choice(s) selected by the students of the selected grade level.

Helpful Tip: Click the "English/Math/Science GPA" link to view the courses and grades included in the calculation.

Fun Fact: Only English, Math, and Science classes taken during 10th and 11th grade are factored into this GPA when determining eligibility for the "Direct Admissions Minnesota" program.

Step Two (optional): Click the "Create Direct Admissions File" button to override the weekly automatic submission and update Direct Admissions data with the most current student information.

Fun Fact: Application for admission will be sent to the Minnesota Office of Higher Education (MOHE) through the jmc automated Direct Admissions process for 12th graders included in the Direct Admissions summary that have selected at least one college in jmc Student.

Step Three (optional): Click the "Opted Out Students" button to view a list of students who have opted out of the "Direct Admissions Minnesota" program.

Helpful Tip: Remove students who are not on track to graduate or those who wish to opt out from your Direct Admissions file by heading to the "View Student Data" page and removing the checkmark from the "Direct Admissions" checkbox located on the student's "General" tab.
