How To: Dispatch Staff to Incidents

  1. You can dispatch users from 3 different areas within the Dispatch Center.

  2. Click "—" within the Dispatch column OR the Dispatch button within the Actions buttons.

  3. You can also access it in the Incident Ticket by clicking on the Incident ID # in the Table, then click the button shown below

    All 3 ways shown above will bring up the 'Dispatch Incident' window

  4. Once in the Dispatch Window there are 2 drop-downs available to assist in locating staff. The left is Department, which will narrow down the right depending on what you choose. If you don't choose a department, the right list will contain ALL linked staff.

  5. To dispatch staff, click on a dropdown and selected 1 or more staff which queues them up above. The staff won't be notified of attachment UNTIL you click the dispatch button on the bottom.

    At the point the staff HASN'T been notified of the incident yet UNTIL you click the blue 'Dispatch' button

  6. After clicking 'Dispatch', both the Personnel status and the Incident Status is changed to 'Dispatched'

  7. In the 'List View', Dispatched staff will be attached under the 'Dispatch' Tab
