What’s the difference between Active Incidents vs Open Incidents?

Active Incidents are any incidents that are actively being worked on with a primary responsible party. Active Incidents have any of the following statuses:

  • Open

  • Dispatched

  • Responding

  • On Scene

  • Transport

  • Arrival

Open Incidents are incidents that have not been assigned and require attention. By default, all new incidents are set as Open Incidents unless manually changed.
