Why do double sessions appear in Home & Progress but not in History?

Sometimes a running session in the OnTracx app appears twice in Home โ†’ Progress, while only one session is visible in History. This can cause your suggested targets or progress tracking to appear incorrect.

This usually happens when a session is accidentally synchronized twice with the server. The duplicate sessions completely overlap (same start and end times), so only one appears in History, but Progress shows them as two separate blocks.

  1. Check the sessions:

    • Go to History and locate the sessions on the day the duplicates occurred.

    • Verify in Weekly if the overlapping session is present.

  2. Delete the duplicate session:

    • In History, delete the session that was duplicated.

    • Make sure one correct session remains.

  3. Check Progress:

    • Return to Home โ†’ Progress and confirm the duplicate block is gone.

  4. Prevent future duplicates:

    • After finishing a running session, wait until synchronization is fully complete before switching screens.

    • Avoid navigating to other tabs or screens during the sync process.
